HYTN products score in Germany

Cannabis pharmaceuticals made by Kelowna’s HYTN Innovations are being sold in Germany — and an order for more has been received.

“The successful release of product into the German market is a significant commercial milestone,” said CEO Elliot McKerr in a news release. “The acceptance of a reorder is a positive indicator as we continue toward building recurring international revenue channels.”

HYTN specializes in products with psychoactive and psychotropic compounds, “including cannabis-derived cannabinoids,” the company said.

Avicanna makes first export of CBG flower

Meanwhile, Toronto-based Avicanna announced its Colombia subsidiary Santa Marta Golden Hemp SAS made its first commercial export of CBG-dominant cannabis flower to Australia.

“With this shipment, SMGH has now supplied products into 21 international markets, and Avicanna products have reached 24 markets globally,” the company said.

Tilray makes big deal in Germany

Tilray also announced moves in the international medical cannabis market, Tilray Medical Australia will offer new products under its Redecan and Good Supply brands. The Redecan portfolio will include medical cannabis flower, extracts, vapes and softgels while Good Supply will introduce new flower offerings.

In Germany, Tilray Pharma announced a distribution deal that will see products offered at approximately 3,600 locations.
