Florida pipes now sold in Canada
Safer smoking is what a Florida company promises as it brings its highly touted pipes to Canada.
Weedgets Maze-X and X5 One-Hitter pipes are now available at a number of Canadian retailers, the company says.
Prices will be about $140 and $112, based on the company’s US prices.
“Weedgets are some of the most thoughtfully designed and user-friendly accessories I’ve seen come to market,” said Zaira Gaudio, owner of Curious Cannabis, in a Weedgets’ news release
Curious Cannabis is one of the retailers that will carry the pipes. Others are Canna Cabana (except in B.C., One Plant, On High, Atlantic Cannabis and Stok’d Cannabis.
“Defined by its innovative Maze-style pipe coil, the Maze-X has won awards, been named the ‘best smoking pipe’ by several high-profile cannabis magazines, and is the only pipe in the world with an endorsement by the American Cannabis Nurses association,” the release says.
Kelowna site approved for exports
A Kelowna facility that manufactures cannabis and psilocybin-based pharmaceuticals has been certified to export products to the United States, Bermuda and Israel.
Good Manufacturing Practices certificates are needed for each export jurisdiction.
“By demonstrating GMP compliance in markets that require it, HYTN is well-positioned to support new drug registrations, facilitate clinical trials, and offer contract manufacturing for both cannabis and psilocybin-based pharmaceuticals,” said Jason Broome, COO, in a news release.
HYTN Innovations supplies cannabis to Canada, the UK, Germany and Australia.
