Blips Live Rosin by Indiva

Few cannabis products have earned a permanent place in my stash, but Blips are one of them.

They’re inexpensive at about a $1 per 10-mg dose, consistent in quality, and wonderfully inconspicuous. Since the original tube of 20 Blips released back in 2024, Indiva has put out a 55-pack.

Recently they’ve added a new type of Blip to their lineup, with Blips Live Rosin.

These capsules are thicker than their original counterparts and also include a minor cannabinoid (CBC) in the mix.

Their god-awful flavour is unchanged. Still, I take them like a pill — though others will chew them, grimacing the whole time, so they theoretically take effect a bit quicker.

Live Rosin Blips are 10mg THC and 5mg CBC.

The difference in formula is noticeable to me, giving me a more sociable kind of high. It’s impossible to know how much of that comes from the added CBC, but it’s an intriguing cannabinoid. Early research suggests CBC may play a role in pain relief and mood.

Live rosin is also a nice addition. Because it’s made without solvents, it’s generally valued for preserving more of the plant’s original terpene profile than many other cannabis extracts.

For me, the effects begin in about an hour, peak around the two-hour mark and linger for several hours.

I was initially pretty critical of the flavour, but have come to realize that the other aspects of the product far outweigh not being able to chew them without cringing. After all, you don’t chew Tylenol, right?

Would I buy them again? Absolutely. Unlike gummies or beverages, Blips are discreet, don’t melt in your pocket, and are easy to dose consistently. Not every cannabis product has to taste good. Some just have to work. Blips Live Rosin fall firmly into that category.
