Chew and Chill by Pacific Rim Brands
Published on April 4, 2025 by David Wylie
Chew and Chill gummies won’t win any beauty contests, but they taste alright and do the trick.
These are the ugliest gummies we’ve bought. The Sugar-Free Jasmine Peach flavour looked a bit like little clumps of butter. I was actually a little worried about eating them.
The Sugar-Free Black Cherry CBN ones looked a little nicer, but not by much.
These are a good example of not judging a book by its cover. On the inside, they look almost like cracking open a geode, bright and crystallized.
We tried two varieties.
The Jasmine Peach gummies taste good, like dried fruit. They have 10mg of THC per package.
The Black Cherry gummies are very sweet and have a good hit of cherry flavour. They have 10mg THC and 5mg CBN.
They are sugar-free but they don’t taste like it.
These gummies have a really interesting texture, then melt in your mouth after a few chews.
Overall, these are overpriced at $7 a package. They were fun to try, but I wouldn’t buy them again.
While the package has a maple leaf on it, the company has its roots in the US. It was founded by Mike Krause and Simon Setton, who wanted to create a guiltless way to consume gummies without sugar. “Frustrated by sugary, generic edibles, we set out to craft a premium, sugar-free, vegan, and gluten-free gummy that fits seamlessly into any lifestyle,” they say.
They’re distributed in Canada by Herbal Dispatch.
