Cocobamba by Purefire

Photo: David Wylie/the oz. Purefire has a reputation for quality cannabis that spreads by word of mouth.
We decided to try some out.
The seven-gram bag of Cocobamba is our first taste of the BC-based weed brand. We got it as a Direct Delivery product during the provincial government strike, which is now mercifully over.
It was freshly packed and the cheesy, sour scent was pungent.
The forest green buds were beautifully trimmed and squishy.
It packs nicely when you roll it, burns slowly, and leaves grey ash.
The high hits hard and fast and then slowly peals away.
Cocobamba is Mint Chip x Rainbow Chip Hybrid clocks in at 26.4% THC, with 3.9% terpenes. It’s highest in B-Caryophyllene, Myrcene, and Limonene.
Purefire, based in Penticton, hang-dries, hand-trims, and cold cures for 30 days.
It’s a family owned micro cultivator.
We’ve been lucky over the past year to have consistently bought some great quality cannabis. This is right up there.
