Mary Jones’ drinks are as sweet as they are vibrant in colour.

Generally, the bright hues match the cans. Green Apple is bright green, like something the Ninja Turtles crawled out from. Berry Lemonade is bright blue. MF Grape is a deep purple.

All of the drinks have about 42 grams of sugar per can.

And you can taste it. All three flavours are comparable to the taste of a Freezie crossed with the tartness of a Jolly Rancher. All three drinks live up to their name, apple, berry, and grape.

Perhaps because of the high sugar content, they have a bit of a syrupy texture.

However, there’s no bitterness from the cannabis extract.

The carbonation level is right on and you can crush these without too much throat burn.

The effect has a nice couch-locked feel, where you’re relaxed but not sleepy.

Overall, these are enjoyable, but the amount of sugar makes it prohibitive to drink more than one or two. At $7 a can, they are also priced at the higher end in this category.

If you’re not a sweet tooth or don’t want the extra sugar, then there are other options that would be a better fit.
