One of the best aspects of these gummies are the minor cannabinoids. They are 1:1:1 ratio.
There are two types. We tried the Elderberry Spruce, which has 10mg each of THC, CBD, and CBG. It’s for daytime use. There is also a Lavender Lemon Balm flavour that is 10mg each of THC, CBG, and CBN. It’s intended for nighttime.
The gummies by the Kootenay-based company are more bitter than most from the cannabis extract. Still, the flavour comes through and they’re enjoyable to eat.
The infused candies are round and sugar coated. They have a nice texture when chewed.
Sweetgrass says the gummies are a collaboration with Loosh Brands. They use the grower’s flagship cultivars – Mint Chocolate Chip and Crunch Berries – in a unique cured resin blend.
Sweetgrass’ gummies are on the pricier end at $35 for a bag of 10 individually packaged candies.
They are vegan and free from artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
Overall, these are not the cheapest edibles on the market but they are clearly craft and you get what you pay for. We bought them from a local shop that brought them in through BC’s Direct Delivery program.
