Now that cannabis regulations have changed to allow edibles to be packaged up 100mg THC, we’re starting to see options on the market.

Unfortunately, some of those options are lazy.

Take Shred’ems Red Apple Peach Party Pack. It looks like something you’d find at Costco in their “mega-weed” section (if such a thing existed).

It’s a big bag stuffed with 10 more bags that each contain one little gummy. That’s pretty damn tone deaf at a time when single-use plastic and bags are being phased out.

For years the cannabis industry has been crying for more sustainability. This feels like a fat middle finger from Organigram, which produces Shred’ems.

As for the gummies themselves, they’re decent. The taste is very apple forward with a bit of peach at the end.

They’re a nice soft chew.

The price is about $20 for the Party Pack, which works out to about $2 a gummy.

Red Apple Peach is the Indica version. Shred’ems also sells a Shark Attack Party Pack that’s a Sativa.

Overall, the value is there and the gummies are decent. It just comes down to whether you can stomach the waste.
