First Penticton cannabis store approved

The South Okanagan now has its first cannabis retail store approval.

The province has granted a licence to Cannabis Cottage. The store is located at 385 Martin Street in downtown Penticton.

It’s the 52nd licence granted in B.C.

Penticton city council has given its support to eight stores, including a BC Cannabis Store location.

Spiritleaf in Vernon was the first provincially licensed retail cannabis store in the Okanagan. It opened on Canada Day.

Since then, Hobo has opened in Kelowna and Starbuds has opened in Lake Country.
