Lotus Cannabis releases first cultivar under its own name

North Okanagan-based cannabis grower Lotus Cannabis has released its first offering under its own brand name.

Lotus’ indoor-grown Keylime Kush became available this week in BC.

Eighths (3.5g) of the high-THC, high-terpene hybrid sold out quickly from the BC Cannabis Stores site, but can still be found in private brick-and-mortar stores.

Pre-rolls are expected to come available soon.

It’s a cross between Key Lime Mints and Kush Mints #11, and is high in farnesene, limonene, caryophyllene, and linalool.

“As growers, we understand consumers are looking for great quality flower at a great price, which is what we’re happy to provide with our Keylime Kush,” says Lotus COO Carl Correia.

Lotus employs Okanagan legacy growers, led by Carl Correia and Jason Brown.

Located on 23 acres near Armstrong, Lotus has grown flower sold under the Kolab Project name. They also sell under Pistol and Paris.

Last fall, Lotus finished its 100th consecutive harvest in nearly four years, having grown about 6.5 million grams.
