Spiritleaf opens in West Kelowna

Published on December 27, 2019 by David Wylie

West Kelowna’s first cannabis retail store — Spiritleaf — opens Saturday.

Owner Mike Adams talked with the oz. the night before the store’s opening day.

“We’re excited to open up and serve all the residents and guests of West Kelowna. We’re hoping we can meet everybody’s expectations and provide some great products for all the cannabis users out there,” he says.

There will be plenty of products from which to choose. Their first shipment of edibles and vape cartridges is expected to arrive on Dec. 31.

Spiritleaf is giving away swag bags to the first 50 customers who come to the door at 104-1195 Industrial Rd. It’s open from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.

“We’re doing a ribbon cutting in the morning to kick things off,” he says.

This is Spiritleaf’s third store open the Okanagan. They also have locations that are open in Vernon and Penticton. The chain’s Kelowna location is still waiting for its provincial licence.
