Variety of new drinks drop into BC market

Two types of Keef classic sodas are among a drop of new cannabis beverages.

A number of new cannabis drinks hit BC shelves.

Keef classic sodas, a well-known US brand, are now available in British Columbia.

Orange Kush (similar to Orange Crush) and Bubba Kush (a root beer) are retailing for about $7. They are both 10mg THC.

Two new cannabis ‘beers’ are available under the brand Bedfellows. They look similar to Mollos and are also made by Hexo.

One is called Indie Pals—described as having a “fruity hop” aroma with flavour from a combination of Citra, El Dorado, Simcoe and Mosaic hops. It has 10mg THC + 2mg CBD. It’s priced at $7.

The second is called Haus Mates— with a “sweet malt and floral hop” aroma. It contains 7.5mg THC  and 2.5mg CBD. It’s priced at $6.

Tweed has dropped two new carbonated water Fizz drinks.

They come in watermelon and mango flavours. Both have 5mg THC.

They’re priced at $5.

Finally, Everie has added Spiced Starlight CBD tea to its offerings. It has 20mg CBD. The tea is a blend of spice, cardamom, and cloves.

Other notable releases

Among the recent releases are two flower options produced in the Okanagan:

  • Platinum Grapes by North Okanagan grower by Organnicraft
  • Okanagan Grown Cold Creek Kush by West Kelowna’s DOJA

Also, there’s a new entry into the straight-rolled pre-roll category with Animal Mints by Back Forty.
