I have an overactive brain—particularly at night, and especially after getting baked.

That’s a recipe for bouts of insomnia.

So CBN, a cannabinoid known for its sedative effect, has caught my curiosity.

As a regular user of melatonin, I’m familiar with that fuzzy sedative feeling that comes along with a subtle sleep aid. I found a similar effect from a low dose of Sunshower’s CBN Blueberry Moon—though it made me somewhat less dozy than a 1-mg hit of melatonin.

The CBN gummies are similar in look to Sunshower’s other cannabis-infused gummies. However, the texture was more chewy, almost reminiscent of a vitamin gummy bear.

They have a sugar coating, and there’s citrusy sourness to the blueberry candy flavour.

They come in a pack of 10, with 1mg of THC and 2mg of CBN per candy—for a total of 10mg THC and 20mg CBN per bag.

It costs about $6.25 per package, which isn’t bad for 10.

Overall, these are worth a try for anyone who has a tough time drifting to sleep. Still, it does feel a little weird eating candy just before bedtime.
