The BC Cannabis Summit is taking place at Eldorado Resort.

There are a lot of events on the BC Cannabis Summit agenda—and some others that aren’t.

We’ve started collecting some of the notable happenings, with a few you can’t find on the official BC Cannabis Summit agenda.

Let us know what we’re missing!

1. Morning stretch

Instructor led morning yoga sessions are happening Thursday and Friday from 8-8:30 a.m. The sessions, led by The Different Collective, are weather permitting. You’ll need to provide your own workout gear and yoga mat if you register. Here are the links to book your spot on Thursday (eventbrite.ca/e/320319513287 password is Yoga21) and Friday (eventbrite.ca/e/320326775007 password is Yoga22). Space is limited.

2. Meet the press

A number of media personalities and content creators will be gathered on the rooftop patio around 4:20 p.m. on 4/20. Come mingle (the oz. will be there). You might even have the chance to hop on one of the on-site podcasts.

3. And the winner is…

You’ve probably seen some of your favourite brands pining for votes in the AR Cannabis Awards on their social media. On Thursday night, from 7 p.m.-11:30 p.m., AR Cannabis will present the 2022 AR Cannabis Awards Night. Tickets are required for the cocktail reception and awards ceremony.

4. Spotlight on women

While there is a diverse list of moderated panels to attend, the summit final panel called ‘Women and Cannabis – The Next Generation of Leaders’ will be one worth watching. The Q&A session will focus on women helping to define the next generation of leadership in BC’s cannabis sector.

5. How great is this party!

The event’s sponsors have put together an unofficial afterparty that’s by invite only on Friday night. You’ll have to shake the right hands to get the details on this one. “Those that are invited are excited about it,” said one of the organizers.
