Budtenders are in high demand across Canada.

The job “dispensary technician” appeared in the No. 3 spot on the 2023 LinkedIn Jobs on the Rise list, which compiled the 20 fastest-growing job titles over the past five years.

“Related titles include budtender,” notes LinkedIn, a social media platform geared toward professionals.

“What they do: Dispensary technicians take and fill out customers’ orders and help to package sales items at cannabis dispensaries.”

The greatest demand is in the Greater Toronto area, it says.

LinkedIn did not provide a salary range offered to budtenders.
