The Valens Company on a hiring spree

There were dozens of chairs out, but every single one was full.

It was standing room only at a career fair at the Sheraton Hotel near YLW Thursday in Kelowna for The Valens Company.

We popped in to take a peek. There was a decent cross-section of people there all looking for an entry point into the cannabis industry.

Valens is hiring dozens of new staff as production labourers at its Lake Country facility.

Business seems to be brisk at the Kelowna-based extraction company.

We’ll get a peek at just how brisk next week, when Valens announces its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2019 financial results on Feb. 25.

Their extracts are used in all kinds of different products made by numerous brands.
