Christmas is coming early for The Valens Company.

It has signed a manufacturing deal with Aurora Cannabis to make Canna Cane Mints that will launch under the Drift Turbo brand.

The two-piece pack of hard peppermint candies contain 10mg THC (5mg THC per piece). The agreement is expected to expand into further products.

“We know that Canadian cannabis consumers are looking for novelty and variety, and seasonal offerings are a key approach to strategically expanding our portfolio of adult-use products,” says Aurora Cannabis CEO Miguel Martin.

Aurora’s holiday offerings will also include a 510-vape cartridge under the Daily Special brand called Cranberry Sauce.

Both products will be available in BC and Alberta starting in November.

Valens CEO Tyler Robson says it’s an “important milestone for the Canadian cannabis market as two of the largest companies in this sector come together.”

Aurora’s brand portfolio also includes San Rafael ’71 and Whistler.
