Tropicanna Cookies LSO grown by Quebec-based Fuga stands out, no doubt.

Opening the bag, the smell of oranges is off the charts—even stronger than the smell of actual oranges.

The small, skinny, deep purple buds are distinct, darker than any other weed I’ve seen to date on the legal market.

I picked up Fuga’s Tropicanna Cookies LSO from the SQDC in Quebec this summer. It was recommended by the budtender as an excellent example of what La Belle Province can grow.

It was a fine example of Canadian legal weed.

THC levels in Quebec are deliberately kept lower than other parts of Canada, and Tropicanna Cookies LSO came in at just under 19% THC. It featured Limonene, Linalool, and Caryophyllene.

My lot was packaged on July 28 and it held up great with a Boveda in the bag. Disappointingly, my eighth came in underweight by half a gram.

The orange tang is front and centre through the dry-herb vape and very forward in the smoke.

The ash burns grey.

Personally, I found the effect to be pretty relaxed, with a definite social buzz through the vape.

It was grown in living soil in Stoneham, Que.
