Concentrates layered on concentrates make for a very potent joint.

Do you want to get 40% THC-level high, but don’t trust the THC percentage on the label?

There’s a DIY solution.

Combine a few of the most potent cannabis concentrates in your own curated collection and roll yourself a rocket.

7 steps to absolute liftoff

Step 1: Start with the weed of your choice—I ground up the last of my frosty Alien Jelly flower from Vancouver Island’s FRESH (24% THC).

Step 2: On top of that I added little snakes of EarthWolf Farms Venom OG (70% THC normally used for dabs).

Step 3: Completing the trifecta inside the joint, I sprinkled a generous helping of kief from my grinder (50%-80% THC).

What you need to craft your own rocket.

Step 4: Roll up the joint.

Step 5: Apply a thin layer oil concentrate with a sticky consistency to the outside of the joint. This is going to be an two-sided adhesive. I used Pura Vida Indica Honey Oil (66.6% THC). It comes in a syringe.

Step 6: Dip, roll, and sculpt your joint (I used a dab tool) in kief until your preferred amount sticks. Make it neat, make it messy, make art.

Step 7: Light it up!

Brace yourself for liftoff.

How does a highly potent joint make you feel?

If you go over the edge searching for your outer limit, there are a few different things you might feel, including panic and anxiety; a pounding heart; a desire to lay down and close your eyes (sometimes curled up in a ball and sometimes face down flat).

There are a few things you can do to help if you feel too high.

  • Assure yourself calmly that the feeling will pass—faster with inhalation than with edibles.
  • Focus on your breathing
  • Drink water; it’s simple to get as well as healthy, refreshing, and soothing. Your body will thank you.
  • Try your best to relax and distract yourself; lay down and listen to music, put on a TV show, cuddle a pet, take a bath or shower.
  • Using a CBD-only tincture can ease the THC effects.
