5 reasons the Okanagan is perfect for high adventure
British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley is primed to join the growing list of cannabis tourism destinations across the globe — in the good company of The Netherlands, Portugal, Uruguay, Oregon, Colorado.
Here are five good reasons the Okanagan is destined to join the world’s best pot spots.
1. Natural wonder
You think Kalamalka Lake looks deep and mysterious now? Wait until you view it after an afternoon expanding your perspective. The same goes for the Valley’s numerous scenic lookouts, vineyards and mountaintops. (Heck, we’ve got local whisky and absinthe). There are roughly 40 wineries in Kelowna alone, plus dozens more in Penticton and points south. Craft beer is also making an impact in the Valley.
