Sativa is hot in the summer at Seed to Soul
Published on June 3, 2022 by David Wylie
Sativa in the summer, Indica in the winter.
That’s a noticeable trend at Seed to Soul Boutique in Armstrong, says the owner.
While consumer taste varies by season, says Seed to Soul owner Tienne Bayrack, the dominant format remains consistent.
“We sell a lot of pre-rolls,” she says. “Those are probably the most popular at any given time.”
Bayrack has been in the cannabis game for 15 years. At one point she had a licensed medical grow facility, which she sold to a major licensed producer before shifting into retail.
She says she wanted to support legacy growers and she makes a point of sourcing BC products.
Affordability for customers is also a factor.
Seed to Soul has developed a niche in Armstrong helping all demographics.
More of What’s in Store
- Shop local, smoke local at Downtown Cannabis
- Old-school customers return to THC Canada
- Ounces prove popular at Glenmore Cannabis
Customers vary on any given day.
“The Friday crowd varies from the Monday crowd,” she says. “We’ve got a lot of people who smoked back in the day and are reintroducing themselves to it.”
Bayrack says she likes to help people who are curious and timid.
The store carries a wide selection of products that contain different cannabinoids, such as CBD and CBN. Customers say they sometimes seek it for sleep and anxiety.
Bayrack says Pistol and Paris is very popular at her store, as well as Sitka cannabis products.
Flower from micro-cultivators frequently does well, she says.
More popular brands and products include:
- Tantalus (from pre-rolls to flower)
- Greenade (Bruce Banner, Mango Merengue)
- Choice Cannabis Growers
