Monjour CBD gummies are one of my personal favourites, so I was excited to try their CBN ones.

This is the second CBN gummy in my experimentation with weed as a sleep aid; I previously tried Sunshower’s Blueberry Moon ones.

Monjour’s entry into the growing niche of CBN edibles is bursting with cannabinoids, including: 10mg THC; 80mg CBD; and the star of the show, 30mg CBN. That’s per package, with four gummies inside.

They are beautiful to look at. The gummies have a cannabis leaf imprinted on them and they are a translucent blue hue.

They smell like candy.

In the mouth, they’re very gelatinous and you have to chew, chew, chew them. They’re comparable to Jello Jigglers.

The taste is extremely bitter, though the blueberry and lemon flavour do come through.

My experience with these is a little skewed. I ate the whole package just before boarding a 3.5-hour red-eye flight.

While I was already tired, there’s no doubt these made my eyelids even heavier. Still, the THC was really noticeable. Each time I nearly fell asleep, I was startled awake by the combination of the plane, physical discomfort, and the buzz.

If you want a really chill, sleepy, couch-locked night-time buzz. In which case, these are truly perfect.

If you’re more interested in a sleep-aid, like I was on my flight, learn from me and don’t eat the whole bag.

I would try these again.
