Canopy Growth launches Martha Stewart CBD for Pets

Published on January 28, 2021 by Jenny Neufeld

It’s clear that Martha Stewart loves animals, in fact she owns four dogs, three cats, multiple horses, over 200 chickens, peacocks, canaries, and dozens of geese. This is why she took interest in the benefits of CBD for her furry friends.

She has partnered with Canopy Growth to launch Martha Stewart CBD for Pets.

“Dogs, too, like to be soothed and calmed and made to feel better. Some dogs are anxious. Some dogs ache from arthritic conditions or aching joints or previous wounds. Some dogs’ anxiety extends to getting along with other dogs. And all dogs just want to feel good,” she says.

Stewart worked with Dr. Bob Menardi, DVM, Director of Veterinary Technical and Educational Services at Canopy Animal Health to create a line of products that are backed by science.

The products include oil drops and soft-baked chews in three flavour combinations and formulas – Wellness, Calm and Mobility.

They’re designed to support pet mental and physical well-being, reduce the effects of everyday stress, and maintain joint health and mobility by harnessing the power of CBD and other ingredients.

While these products may be good enough for Martha Stewart’s dogs, who she cooks for herself, they aren’t available for purchase in Canada.
