I have a sweet spot for pop, so when it comes to cannabis drinks, they’re my go-to.

Keef brand sodas have been some of my favourites in the category so far. Their root beer and orange drinks have both been repeat buys because they’re so close in taste to their non-infused counterparts.

The Original Cola Classic Soda, however, is my least favourite of the three.

I picked this up while in Ontario.

It’s a decent 10 mg THC drink that I still enjoyed. But Keef’s cola faces some tough competition in the category from Sweet Justice beverages.

And the problem with the Keef cola is the flavour doesn’t really pop, like a Coke or a Pepsi. The drink itself is also a little flat after a few sips, making it more syrup than soda.

For $8.50 a can, I’d like Keef colas to be more flavourful and better carbonated.

On the plus, it does pack a good buzz.
